Section D Winners at Spennymoor
Lockwood Brass walked away from the Spenymoor Leisure Centre for the second year as Champions of Section D. The band was under the baton of well respected conductor John Roberts for the first time, with regular conductor Nigel Barnes taking the Solo Horn seat. The pre-draw saw the band taking the stage as the fourth band out of the five bands playing Three Haworth Impressions (Gordon Langford). A fine performance saw the band take the top spot by two points from Billingham Silver.
