Last weekends North of England Regionals at the newly refurbished Dolphin Centre in Darlington saw Lockwood placed second in their debut contest in the 1st Section. This means a fifth consecutive invitation to the National Brass Band Championships in September.
Eric Ball's Sinfonietta – The Wayfarer was the First Section test piece this year, which saw Felling walk away as Champions for the second year in a row.
As well as finishing second, Lockwood were also awarded the prize for best percussion.
