
After being placed first for at our first four contests, the run came to an end at the Tameside Open. But despite that, Lockwood still managed to get placed second out of twelve bands by adjudicator Paul Dalton.
As it was an open contest we opted to play the same test piece we'd played so successfully just weeks before at the areas, Lydian Pictures. As expected Lockwood weren't the only band to play Lydian with several others, including the winners Nelson Brass, playing the 4th Section regional test piece. The full results are shown below. A few pictures from Ashton should hopefully be appearing after Wednesday.
